Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Angus works with colleagues Andrew Austin and Angela Harris to manage investment portfolios for charities, school foundations, high net worth individuals, family trusts and individual investors. Angus says the most rewarding part of his role is helping his clients achieve their investment goals, whether that’s families and individuals working towards and enjoying a comfortable retirement, or helping charities grow their reserves so they can make a greater difference through their work. Working with the charitable sector is a particularly engaging aspect of his work, and this flows into is private life where Angus sits on the boards of the Barnardos Foundation and his children’s school. Angus has over 25 years’ experience in portfolio management and investment advice. He began his career with Credit Suisse in London, followed by a stint as an operator at Jarden in Wellington. He then returned to the UK, where he managed investment portfolios for private clients and charities at Bell Lawrie White in Edinburgh. He returned home to New Zealand - and Jarden - in 2004. Angus holds a BCA from Victoria University of Wellington and a UK Securities Institute Diploma. Alongside charitable work, outside the office Angus has a passion for the great outdoors, which he enjoys through fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family.
